Hi team, I just stumbled upon CineamVision and PreShow Experience yesterday. I managed to install PSE on my ShieldTV Pro, but I can't seem to figure out how to create a new sequence and what content to choose. Even the "demo" sequence just goes dark when I hit Play and then I see the "feature placeholder" for about 5 seconds before the sequence ends. Say I'd just like to play two trailers from Apple Trailers before my movie starts. How can I set up a sequence to do that? Thanks guys! Cheers Clemens

I went from a Windows environment to Mac. I seem to remember that “Page Up” was the way to skip to the next module on the PC - is there an equivalent key press on the Mac to go to the next module? Thanks!

Hi, pretty nice Addon!! I was also a Big Fan of Cinemavision and I do remember that there was an Option to stop adjusting refresh rate while Trailers and Bumpers were playing. Did I missed the setting somewhere? If not, is it planned to include this in a later Version? thanks and regards

Artic Zephyr Reloaded for PreShow Experience in Kodi 20 View File This is beta - it SHOULD work - i have tested and existing settings all stick. this mod also makes the PreShow action the default focus when in the Video Dialog window. even made a custom PreShow icon from the O in the PreShow logo. things i noticed. if you install the artic zephyr skin after you install PreShow Experience, PreShow might not show in the context menu. just uninstall preshow (be sure to select NO when it asks to delete the settings/files) and reinstall. it will then have the context menu. this might have been a me thing as i was tired when running te…

I had 1 issue getting PreShow to work in Kodi 21 Omega. It originally wanted InputStream Adaptive to play all the videos. I turned that off and everything appeared to work as expected. I'm going to looking further into this when I get time. Please post your experiences with PreShow Kodi 21 Omega here.

We frequently set up a collection of 10 to 20 slides as a pre-show before our programming for 30 or so minutes using the Slideshow module. However, we encounter the slideshow limitation: once all the slides have been displayed once, the slideshow ends, regardless of the total duration set. To achieve our desired length, we duplicate and manually number the slides, which is quite cumbersome when looking to keep the same rotation order over and over. Would it be possible to add a “loop” option to this module? This would allow the slides to restart either in alphabetical order or in a continuous random order, while keeping the background music uninterrupted. We believe this …

Hello, Is it possible to play background music when you pause the film?

Good morning I came to the site 6 months ago I started trying to get preshow to work under a zdmc with nexus 20.2 without success now I'm coming back and hoping that someone can help me! I specify that I deactivated the external player in the zdmc interface to do my tests when I configure the different preshow parts with local files only, no external announcement this works but when I want to test the scene it tells me clerical error I am attaching my log and thank you to anyone who can help me Mike ZDMC LOG mike.docx

I am using tinymediamanager to scrape my movies and pull down trailers locally. However, each trailer is pulled down into the movies folder. My current directory structure is this NAS://media/Movies NAS://media/preshow/Trailers Trailers for each movie show up in NAS://media/Movies/<MovieName>/trailers/trailer.mp4 Is there anyway to have the preshow experience display only these trailers, maybe recursively based off file format, or another syntax with wildcards?

Years ago I found CinemaVision in some forums, but I gave it up after the problems with newer versions of Kodis... - So I'm so glad having found PSE for my Zidoo Z9X Pro with Kodi 20 (ZDMC 20.2). It's working at last (after I recognised that I have to have a skin supporting PSE... 😉 ). Now I have to tune it a little bit, but the main work is done. Sorry this might be a stupid question: What is the smartest way when you want to update PSE, e. g. from Version 0.1.1 to the current 0.1.3 without loosing the settings? The original installation was from unknown sources through USB, therefore the automatic update directly from the Add-On Menue does not work. Do i need to delete my previous installation of 0.1.1 and then install 0.1.3 again from USB??

Curious if it's possible to have a context menu for PSE mapped to a right-click on as kin built button so you can left-click the button to start the regular PSE sequence per the proper parameters but also be able to right-click (or another control type action equal to) that would bring up the context menu allowing you to select the sequence you'd like to run? My reasoning for this is to have the skin button run my default full PSE sequence anytime without the context menu pop-up as it's nicer and cleaner especially when hosting guests. Hello, I've switched from Kodi 18 + CinemaVision to Kodi 20 + PreShowExperience recently. First, thank you very much for continuing supporting/developing this great feature! During run of my sequence there's is the load status (little blue circle at the center of the screen) visible for short moments between two sequential features. It disturbs the enjyoment of the preshow... How to prevent that? I've found out that there's a file "DialogBusy.xml" related to the active skin (e. g. Aeon Nox Silvo). I have just installed the update and tried the new preview module in the sequence editor. Should it only play the current module or play the rest of the sequence? It seems to be playing from the Trivia Intro, but i have select the preview from a different module. I also have the trivia modules disabled, so I think I have found a bug.

Hi, I am using the skin Copacetic on the latest version of Kodi. Is there a way of forcing PSE to start when ever a movie is started? If you create sub menus the option to run PSE is not there, it only works in certain menu systems. I think that the old Cinema Experience you could do this, but been a long time since I used that. Copacetic is fantastic as a dedicated cinema skin rather than a general media player such as Artic Horizon. I am not sure if this is possible or not, but I would love to do this on this particular skin, rather than having to go to information and then running it from the menu. Cheers for any help given. I've been using PSE since it was uhhhh, Home Theater Experience, back before Kodi was Kodi. I used Cinema Experience, which I'm pretty sure there was 1 more after before PSE started. I used to go back and forth with the original author, and a few times with the CE author with 1 suggestion. The ability to select trivia for specific movies, so I could set up my trivia to tie in with the movies. Both said it was a good idea, and would consider it. Nothing ever came from it, so I would copy just the trivia for the movie I wanted into the trivia folder before I started XBMC. I stopped using Kodi for a chunk and came back to see you can now add conditions to your sequences. Whi…
