All IMDB trailers are broken, including upcoming and classic trailers. I don't know if there is a way to resolve the issue.
Looks like Team-XBMC Developer tbiden20 is spearheading an upcoming Kodi release for Windows that will once again include DSPlayer (allows using madvr directly in Kodi) to be followed later with additional support for libplacebo. This is great news for those who don't want to contend with having to use external players for Kodi and the loss of resume functionality. Furthermore, one additional feature was just added that will benefit users of PreShow Experience directly, especially projector owners. See below for details.
