I've been using PSE since it was uhhhh, Home Theater Experience, back before Kodi was Kodi. I used Cinema Experience, which I'm pretty sure there was 1 more after before PSE started. I used to go back and forth with the original author, and a few times with the CE author with 1 suggestion. The ability to select trivia for specific movies, so I could set up my trivia to tie in with the movies. Both said it was a good idea, and would consider it. Nothing ever came from it, so I would copy just the trivia for the movie I wanted into the trivia folder before I started XBMC. Curious if there’s a way to program a sequence action or other method to advance to the next item based on a specific clock time. Here’s the scenario I run into: we program outdoor movies in our park, and the schedule needs to be pretty precise. We typically run a 30-minute block of trivia while people get situated, followed by a 9-minute theater intro, with the feature film starting right at 8:00 PM. That means I need to start the sequence at exactly 7:21 PM to keep everything on schedule. The issue is that if I start the sequence a minute or two late, the entire schedule gets pushed back. For most modules, pressing ESC while previewing exits the preview and returns to the Sequencer as expected. However, the Trivia module behaves differently. When Trivia is launched using Preview and ESC is pressed to exit, preShow Experience closes entirely and returns to the main Kodi screen instead of returning to the Sequencer. Settings You can import your CV settings into CinemaVision by clicking on the import text at the bottom of the general settings section. Sequences There are a couple of ways that you can transfer your sequences into PreShow Experience. Option 1 is to export your sequence out of CV. Open the sequence editor and load the sequence. Then click the save button and then export. Save it to a location that you can easily find. In PreShow Experience, you can then import the sequence. I can see this being a fun option for customizing the trailers module for a sequence that mimics VHS/DVD openings. Like, for example, playing only trailers for Disney movies when the feature is from Disney, and so on. I can see it at least working when KodiDB is enabled as a trailer scrapper.
