PreShow Experience

I've been using PSE since it was uhhhh, Home Theater Experience, back before Kodi was Kodi. I used Cinema Experience, which I'm pretty sure there was 1 more after before PSE started. I used to go back and forth with the original author, and a few times with the CE author with 1 suggestion. The ability to select trivia for specific movies, so I could set up my trivia to tie in with the movies. Both said it was a good idea, and would consider it. Nothing ever came from it, so I would copy just the trivia for the movie I wanted into the trivia folder before I started XBMC. Hi, I am using the skin Copacetic on the latest version of Kodi. Is there a way of forcing PSE to start when ever a movie is started? If you create sub menus the option to run PSE is not there, it only works in certain menu systems. I think that the old Cinema Experience you could do this, but been a long time since I used that. Copacetic is fantastic as a dedicated cinema skin rather than a general media player such as Artic Horizon. I am not sure if this is possible or not, but I would love to do this on this particular skin, rather than having to go to information and then running it from the menu. Cheers for any help given. Settings You can import your CV settings into CinemaVision by clicking on the import text at the bottom of the general settings section. Sequences There are a couple of ways that you can transfer your sequences into PreShow Experience. Option 1 is to export your sequence out of CV. Open the sequence editor and load the sequence. Good morning I came to the site 6 months ago I started trying to get preshow to work under a zdmc with nexus 20.2 without success now I'm coming back and hoping that someone can help me! I specify that I deactivated the external player in the zdmc interface to do my tests when I configure the different preshow parts with local files only, no external announcement this works but when I want to test the scene it tells me clerical error I am attaching my log and thank you to anyone who can help me Mike ZDMC LOG mike.docx

I am using tinymediamanager to scrape my movies and pull down trailers locally. However, each trailer is pulled down into the movies folder. My current directory structure is this NAS://media/Movies NAS://media/preshow/Trailers Trailers for each movie show up in NAS://media/Movies/<MovieName>/trailers/trailer.mp4 Is there anyway to have the preshow experience display only these trailers, maybe recursively based off file format, or another syntax with wildcards?

Years ago I found CinemaVision in some forums, but I gave it up after the problems with newer versions of Kodis... - So I'm so glad having found PSE for my Zidoo Z9X Pro with Kodi 20 (ZDMC 20.2). It's working at last (after I recognised that I have to have a skin supporting PSE... 😉 ). Now I have to tune it a little bit, but the main work is done. Hi team, I just stumbled upon CineamVision and PreShow Experience yesterday. I managed to install PSE on my ShieldTV Pro, but I can't seem to figure out how to create a new sequence and what content to choose. Even the "demo" sequence just goes dark when I hit Play and then I see the "feature placeholder" for about 5 seconds before the sequence ends. Say I'd just like to play two trailers from Apple Trailers before my movie starts. How can I set up a sequence to do that? Thanks guys! Cheers Clemens
