Hello, I speak German and try to describe my problem in English. I have Kodi 20.5 with preshow 0.30. If I take video bumpers and theater intro a file via single file, it plays all the files it contains. not the only file I want to take. I hope you can understand my problem. Thanks

Just to highlight that the PreShow editor isn't accessible on the Nvidia Shield. It launches but non of the buttons turn blue regardless of which direction you push the controller. Same distribution works fine on Windows, so must be a shield / kodi issue?

Hi, First of all, thanks for this great plugin, Matt ! I am unable to get PSE getting triggered to start the sequence when I start any movies. I think, I'm doing something really stupid / doing a silly miss. I installed PSE following the guide without any issues. Configuring settings was a breeze, sequence editor is really useful. Sequences play as expected too ( in the sequence editor). Unfortunately, whenever I play a movie, I don't see PSE getting triggered. Hi All, I'm not sure if we are supposed to be discussing issues here or on the discord channel. For now I'll proceed here. I have installed PreShow and it seems to be working well, however, it is not displaying the rating screen prior to the move. This does work fine in Cinemavision. I've got 3 minutes of trivia with music randomly selected from a folder playing at 75% volume. What's happening is that at the 3 minute mark, there's an audible bump in volume on the music (sometimes just for a split second, sometimes it maintains the higher volume), and trivia hangs on whatever slide it's on. I remember in testing for getting CV to work with an earlier version of Kodi, there was something similar, but I can't quite remember the circumstances. Will update as I gather more information. I’ve completely uninstalled PreShow Experience and reinstalled. I’ve made sure the Youtube plugin is installed. I’ve enabled all sources and ran content updates several times. I start with a new blank sequence, put in a trailers module - set it to 3 trailers. Do a “preview” - it turns the screen black and then returns. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled the Youtube plugin as well. I’m out of ideas unless someone can tell me that this is just broken for now?

Edit: Nearly got it. I had the wrong username. The tutorial from CV helped me out. Also forgot an ":" after the "PUT"... But the "execute action on sequence resume" from the menu still is not working. It just says: "This action is not set or not yet applied". And another issue that just appeared is that in the editor all my actions work fine, bute when i start a movie, the first action file just instantly turns off the light instead of just dimming it. Finally moving the media servers I manage forward to Kodi v20/21 and moving over from CinemaVision to PSE. Doing some testing so far I've found a few issues. First, trivia cannot be skipped. This isn't running on a shield it's in Windows 10. Second local trailers do not scrape and therefor do not work. Third, I believe there was a fix for this before but between each video the "working" pop-up gets annoying and would be great to have that hidden. Hello! Where do I go wrong? When I insert a module into a sequence (by accident or somehow) I‘m not able to delete (remove) the icon… PSE says „The PreShow must have a feature module.“ The sequence does have a feature module at its end! Hi, I hope someone can help me. I got a Synology Nas and since I moved all my PSE stuff from my externl drives to the NAS, i cant play the trailer sequence in my PreShows anymore, but everything else works fine. I updated the directory to the NAS, PSE is able to write to it, I could choose single files for the actions and I use NFS. I thought I could work around by adding a video module via directory, but then it does not show me my network storage. Only external drives and a root-system. But if I add a video module and choose a single file, I can choose the NFS Networkstorage. Has anyone an idea what the problem could be?

My Nvidia Shield is set to begin a screensaver when there’s no activity for more than 5 minutes. If I have Trivia play for more than 5 minutes the screensaver will activate during the trivia sequence. I can just change the Shield settings to never go to sleep or make sure it’s longer than the trivia, but just wanted to bring it up in case it’s an easy fix.

First off - thanks for this great contribution to the kodi eco-sphere. I only have one issue. I notice that for some of the modules in my sequence (e.g. a folder of theatrical prevues) - they play at 60% volume. In every area I can change the volume--in the setup, but also in the sequence editor setting for the associated module--it is set to 100%. But upon playback I can see it's at 60%. Another module (trailers) plays as expected. And then when the film itself plays, the volume returns to where Kodi was previously set at. I tried digging right into the .seq file I exported, and also the files in addon_data but don't see where it's pulling these volume changes. Any idea…

Hi everyone. Beginner here. I managed to install preshow on my shield. Also installed both the modified rapier skin and the aeon knox skin. No matter what I do, with either skins, I can't get the context menu to show any options to launch a sequence from preshow experience. I tried searching around for answes, but I can't find anything adressing this issue. I am using the shield remote. Thank you in advance! Any help is much appreciated.

Maybe this will help a bit. I tested PreShow Experience 0.3.0.a2 on my Nvidia Shield TV Pro 2017 and Kodi 21 Omega with Skin: Estuary for PreShow Experience in Kodi 21 Omega 1.0.0. I wanted to test the "Execute Action at last Chapter" function for a few films. Unfortunately, the version didn't work on the Shield and caused Kodi to freeze shortly after I activated PSE. Kodi stopped, then continued to run after 1-2 minutes and froze again, etc. The whole thing didn't run smoothly. Even actions like the curtain up were delayed. After I reinstalled version 0.2.5, everything ran like clockwork again.
