1. PreShow not working on kodi 20 / nvidia shield

   hi there, I just installed the latest preshow on Kodi 20 nexus on my Nvidia Shield. I configured a test sequence which has nothing more than a trailer and feature module. My basic wants for the addon are to just show some trailers before a movie. I set the content folder to my movie folder (because I wont be using local content for now) I selected imdb trailers and TMDB trailers When I test the sequence in the settings app it plays just fine, but when I use the content sensitive option on a movie and try to launch the preshow it starts to load but then just goes to the movie. Not sure why it is not working. Any help would be greatly appreciated! …

2. Previews work, but triggering from Movie context menu doesn't

5. Not working - *edit: Fixed*

   *Fixed* - Issue was that there were multiple sequences set up as the default, so it was failing. I only needed one sequence for my system, so I removed the others and it is working as expected now. ---------------- I set up the addon and built out my outline. 6. Addon not working with Jellyfin? [SOLVED]

   Hello everyone, I have a question about Preshow Experience in the context of Jellyfin: Does this work or does the addon only work with content that is local? I have configured Preshow so far and created a first sequence. This also works when I use the integrated preview. However, I have not been able to get it to work before the actual movies. I have worked through the guides and unfortunately found nothing on the subject of whether it still needs to be activated somehow or how I need to start the actual movie so that the addon becomes active. 8. Kodi crashing when I attempt to install PSE

   Hoping someone can shed light on this, Ive got a fresh Kodi 20.2 installed to Mac OS Catalina. I've downloaded the modified Estuary Skin and PSE script. Installing the modified Estuary went fine, but as soon as I attempt to install the PSE script 1.2, Kodi crashes to desktop. I've also tried the 1.1 version of the script, same result. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

9. Disc Support

   One could trick cinemavision to work with discs (Bluray / DVD) as well. I'm not quite sure how I did it, but it either worked by playing a directory using two files ("empty" with black screen & media stub for disc playback) or by using a playlist file containing the media stub file. Playback could be triggered by running a python script in the menu. If I remember correctly this did no longer work starting with Kodi 19 or at least I'm currently unable to reproduce this behaviour. I tried to recreate this, but to no avail. I also tried starting the disc directly with the PlayDisc()-command and having basically no feature. This will work when testing in the edit…

10. Black Screen at Feature

    Wondering if anyone can help. Everything with my setup works fine until i get to the main feature. It will show the ratings bumper for the main feature and when that fades it just rains black. Any Idea what the problem might be? I'm running on Nvidia Shield.

    First I wan´t to thank for PreShow Experience. I love it, because it brings the real cinema feeling to your home. In the past I used cinemavision for years but there isn´t any more support. I use PSE with a Nvidia Shiled TV 2019. My question: Is there a chance in PSE for time delay in my action file? 15. Official Philips Hue Integration Instructions?

    Do we have official instructions on how to implement Philips Hue lights with PreShow so that they dim, shut off, and turn on at certain parts of the sequence? I want to be able to integrate this, and I've seen mentions here and there, but I just wanted to know if someone has made official instructions on how to do this. I haven't had time to actually go through the CinemaVision instructions so if they work without needing to edit, then I apologize in advance. 17. Trivia with Music crashing

    I've got 3 minutes of trivia with music randomly selected from a folder playing at 75% volume. What's happening is that at the 3 minute mark, there's an audible bump in volume on the music (sometimes just for a split second, sometimes it maintains the higher volume), and trivia hangs on whatever slide it's on. I remember in testing for getting CV to work with an earlier version of Kodi, there was something similar, but I can't quite remember the circumstances. Will update as I gather more information. 18. Hue Actions dont work on Shield

    Edit: Nearly got it. I had the wrong username. The tutorial from CV helped me out. Also forgot an ":" after the "PUT"... But the "execute action on sequence resume" from the menu still is not working. It just says: "This action is not set or not yet applied". And another issue that just appeared is that in the editor all my actions work fine, bute when i start a movie, the first action file just instantly turns off the light instead of just dimming it. 19. Auto select not working

    Something is not working properly when sequences are being run automatically. When I select a movie that should play a custom sequence based on a tag, it plays the default sequence. However if I manually select the same sequence it will play it properly. See video for description. I'm getting the logs as well Think I found it. Look at the picture of the logs. The sequence name in brackets are all the same. Those were all created from the default. When I do "save as" to rename it, it doesn't change the name in the brackets for some reason. Figured it out. 21. Nvidia Shield - PreShow Editor

    Just to highlight that the PreShow editor isn't accessible on the Nvidia Shield. It launches but non of the buttons turn blue regardless of which direction you push the controller. Same distribution works fine on Windows, so must be a shield / kodi issue?

23. Itunes Trailers broken?

    Just installed the new add-on today on an up to date 64bit install of the latest version of kodi for windows and pointed it at my old cinemavision folders and tried setting up a new sequence and it looks like itunes trailers error when attempting to play them. This is the error I get in my kodi log. TMDB trailers play as they should though so it isn't a big issue, I just assume it may trip people up if it's not just my machine having issues. 24. Trivia Interrupted By Screensaver

    My Nvidia Shield is set to begin a screensaver when there’s no activity for more than 5 minutes. If I have Trivia play for more than 5 minutes the screensaver will activate during the trivia sequence. I can just change the Shield settings to never go to sleep or make sure it’s longer than the trivia, but just wanted to bring it up in case it’s an easy fix.

25. Can’t Skip/Pause

    Any way we could have the ability to skip/ff the trivia section? Sometimes I forget to disable it depending on the audience I’m with and it’d be nice to have that ability rather than exiting, going to PreShow add on disabling trivia and going back to the movie.
