hi, I would like to install a sleep function in the cvaction. How does this work? The light should stay on for e.g. 3 minutes and then slowly go out I've tried it before but somehow it doesn't work. It's been a while since I selected Trailers in the Movie, Information (context menu) option. Today when selecting the Trailer icon, I got a dialog to Add-on YouTube. Then the Installation fails. Tried from the repository, and it failed too. How do I view trailers via this icon in the Information? I can view Trailers with IMDB Add-on, but I like the convenience when selecting the Movie, then using Information from the context menu (simple from my remote control).

Hi, First of all, thanks for this great plugin, Matt ! I am unable to get PSE getting triggered to start the sequence when I start any movies. I think, I'm doing something really stupid / doing a silly miss. I installed PSE following the guide without any issues. Configuring settings was a breeze, sequence editor is really useful. Sequences play as expected too ( in the sequence editor). Unfortunately, whenever I play a movie, I don't see PSE getting triggered. Hi, First, thank's for this wonderful addon ! I try to improve the cinema experience and the new action on last chapter/credit can be perfect to turn on lights. Unfortunatly, even if the action work when i test it in the settings, it don't work when i launch a preshow experience sequence.

Would it be possible for PSE to scrape Kodi video sources for local trailers, instead of relying on the trailer folder in the content path? Over the years, I accumulated dozens of movie trailers with uncompressed HD audio that are saved in the corresponding movie folders, e.g.: Dune Part Two (2024) Dune Part Two (2024)-trailer Kodi automatically picks these up when I play trailers from the movie information screen. It would be awesome if I could tap into my existing collection without needing to manually copy them into the content path, also considering that doing so would double my storage requirements.

Hi, first and foremost thank you for the work are you doing to support with project. I was wondering if there is a way to have a movie resume from the Kodi resume point with PSE? Whenever I use PSE it always starts the movie from the beginning. Am I missing something? Thanks

I see this feature is added to the newest version which is great because I've been switching manually between sequences with an IMAX bumper for full screen aspect ratio movies so I wanted to try out this new feature but I cannot find it anywhere. How can we set this filter?

Hi, I am still struggling with the DialogBusy loading icon. Thats why I wanted to ask explicitly, if anyone who uses a Shield could manage to make it invisible. I had no problem when Kodi was installed on a PC. Now that I use a Shield and Arctic Zephyr reloaded. I acces the shield via network connection, open "internal/Android/data/org.xbmc.kodi/files/.kodi/addons/skin.arctic.zephyr/1080i and then I edit the DialogBusy and the CustomDialogBusy files. But even if I edit it to visible>false</visible, the loading icon remains there. (This works when Kodi is installed on a PC). Has anyone an idea what I am doing wrong?

Hello, I speak German and try to describe my problem in English. I have Kodi 20.5 with preshow 0.30. If I take video bumpers and theater intro a file via single file, it plays all the files it contains. not the only file I want to take. I hope you can understand my problem. Thanks

hi, I have a huge problem. When I try to open pse 0.30 the pi4 crashes. I reinstalled everything to test and installed the zip. As soon as I open the pi 4 goes off. Please help. Kodi Omega.

Is it possible when I start a film that I go to PSE without the PSE window opening again and having to select its opening credits. THX. One more question. Is it possible when a film shows the end credits that the Hue lamps turn on again? I can't get it. Only when the film is over do my Hue lights turn on again.

Finally moving the media servers I manage forward to Kodi v20/21 and moving over from CinemaVision to PSE. Doing some testing so far I've found a few issues. First, trivia cannot be skipped. This isn't running on a shield it's in Windows 10. Second local trailers do not scrape and therefor do not work. Third, I believe there was a fix for this before but between each video the "working" pop-up gets annoying and would be great to have that hidden. Fourth along the same line if the feature to be played is on a hard drive that is currently sleeping by the time the sequence gets to playing the main feature you are greeted with a long pause while the…

Maybe this will help a bit. I tested PreShow Experience 0.3.0.a2 on my Nvidia Shield TV Pro 2017 and Kodi 21 Omega with Skin: Estuary for PreShow Experience in Kodi 21 Omega 1.0.0. I wanted to test the "Execute Action at last Chapter" function for a few films. Unfortunately, the version didn't work on the Shield and caused Kodi to freeze shortly after I activated PSE. Kodi stopped, then continued to run after 1-2 minutes and froze again, etc. The whole thing didn't run smoothly. Even actions like the curtain up were delayed. After I reinstalled version 0.2.5, everything ran like clockwork again.

Hello! Where do I go wrong? When I insert a module into a sequence (by accident or somehow) I‘m not able to delete (remove) the icon… PSE says „The PreShow must have a feature module.“ The sequence does have a feature module at its end! I use PSE 0.2.5 where I read something about „… can be deleted“ - so I think I‘m wrong. But how? Thanks to all! Greetings from Bavaria - Robert

Hi everyone. Beginner here. I managed to install preshow on my shield. Also installed both the modified rapier skin and the aeon knox skin. No matter what I do, with either skins, I can't get the context menu to show any options to launch a sequence from preshow experience. I tried searching around for answes, but I can't find anything adressing this issue. I am using the shield remote. Thank you in advance! Any help is much appreciated.

Hey guys, long time lurker and user of PSE - absolutely immense addon. But I've been having issues scraping in trailers within the Kodi database since the V3 alpha dropped (tried in both Kodi 20 and Kodi 21, same issues on both), and as a result it's broken what are pretty authentic sequences I've been building in the addon.
