Hello, I am currently trying PreShow Experience and wanted to know if, and if so how, I can set a pause/delay between elements? Saying I have commercials playing followed by trailer, I would want a few seconds break between the two. Is that possible? Thanks!

I’ve completely uninstalled PreShow Experience and reinstalled. I’ve made sure the Youtube plugin is installed. I’ve enabled all sources and ran content updates several times. I start with a new blank sequence, put in a trailers module - set it to 3 trailers. Do a “preview” - it turns the screen black and then returns. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled the Youtube plugin as well. I’m out of ideas unless someone can tell me that this is just broken for now?

Is there any movement on the development of this? Would love to be able to invoke from my library view easily.

Is anyone else having trouble with the option to store content databases in content folder? I've tried everything

Something is not working properly when sequences are being run automatically. When I select a movie that should play a custom sequence based on a tag, it plays the default sequence. However if I manually select the same sequence it will play it properly. See video for description. I'm getting the logs as well Think I found it. Look at the picture of the logs. The sequence name in brackets are all the same. Those were all created from the default. When I do "save as" to rename it, it doesn't change the name in the brackets for some reason. Figured it out. Received an error when trying to install in Kodi 19.5. The Kodi log says: failed to find dependency script.module.youtube.dl

Just to highlight that the PreShow editor isn't accessible on the Nvidia Shield. It launches but non of the buttons turn blue regardless of which direction you push the controller. Same distribution works fine on Windows, so must be a shield / kodi issue?

Hello, I want to have an image being displayed with music playing in the background before the preshow and the movie starts. I added a slidshow element to my pre-show and added only one image to the directory and also selected the directory where the music is at (see also images below). The problem is: The slideshow is not displayed and just get's skipped... I also tried adding multiple images, but that didn't work either. What do i do wrong? Thanks! Edit: Nearly got it. I had the wrong username. The tutorial from CV helped me out. Also forgot an ":" after the "PUT"... But the "execute action on sequence resume" from the menu still is not working. It just says: "This action is not set or not yet applied". And another issue that just appeared is that in the editor all my actions work fine, bute when i start a movie, the first action file just instantly turns off the light instead of just dimming it. Hi everyone / Matt, is it / how is it possible to make PSE play a Theatre Intro movie endlessly until I press a key on my remote (Fast Forward or whatelse skips within the sequence)? I would like to have a still picture and a song at the beginning (opening the cinema, guests are coming) as long as it takes. Then I press a key and the preshow continues. I've tried a loop but don't know what kind of "Condition" should I mark? (Any help?) Also I've tried a Trivia with several slides of the same picture and a music file in the background. Hi all, when I try to watch a movie from Amazon or Netflix with PSE the sequence stops when the movie is supposed to start with a black screen. Is there any setting I need to adjust when I watch from these platforms?

Hello everyone im new here a struggling. I have everything setup right but I cant seem to start the addon as soon as I play the video... I have to hold down the button over the video then select pse from the info tab to start it. Is their a way it can be done as soon as you hit play. Im using an nvidea shield along with the aeon nox silvo skin.

Do we have official instructions on how to implement Philips Hue lights with PreShow so that they dim, shut off, and turn on at certain parts of the sequence? I want to be able to integrate this, and I've seen mentions here and there, but I just wanted to know if someone has made official instructions on how to do this. Hi There, I have written a script in python to dynamically generate my pre-show content and place it in the relevant folders. In order to achieve the content generation I am using the library moviepy. Running the script from my shell works as expected but when testing the script from Kodi I get an import error no such module moviepy. My action file running this is a simple one liner: python://E:/PreShowExperience/setup_show.py Would anyone know how to resolve this import error? I would be very very grateful

First off - thanks for this great contribution to the kodi eco-sphere. I only have one issue. I notice that for some of the modules in my sequence (e.g. a folder of theatrical prevues) - they play at 60% volume. In every area I can change the volume--in the setup, but also in the sequence editor setting for the associated module--it is set to 100%. But upon playback I can see it's at 60%. Another module (trailers) plays as expected. And then when the film itself plays, the volume returns to where Kodi was previously set at. I tried digging right into the .seq file I exported, and also the files in addon_data but don't see where it's pulling these volume changes. Any idea…

Thank you so much for the Confluence skin in Kodi 21! As I've changed from 20 to 21, the old Confluence didn't work any more... One thing left: Maybe I'm to silly... What's my fault, when I can't set up my background image? I'm using XBMC 21 on my Zidoo instead of pure Kodi 21. When I go to "-Configure skin..." > "Background" > "-Background path:" I do see External storage and my HDD connected to my Zidoo. But the only path in which I can switch is "Root filesystem". Of course, my background image I've put to the HDD. It's not accessible from there... How can I get to my picture? Or: How can I put the picture somewhere into the Root filesystem? Forgive me if this is a stupid question I am coming from cinemavision. What is the difference between content in Sponsors directory compared to Commercials . Also what type of content goes in PreShow directory.

Hello, I have several films with chapter markers and have activated the action: "dim the lights up" at the last chapter, but unfortunately it hasn't worked with any film so far. The action function during general playback with PSE works perfectly. I use a ShieldTV with Kodi Omega. Is there any way to get this function to work or do I have to set something up beforehand?
