I use Media Companion it's completely free, actively being developed, its easy to use and has every feature I can think of .. (And it's Portable you could run it of a USB stick if you desired) https://sourceforge.net/projects/mediacompanion

You could try turning on use visualization while playing audio and if you don't use music while playing trivia Try also putting keep audio device alive and put it under the 5 min you set for the screen saver.

Did you hit the skip button on your remote?

Is anyone else having issues with the editor selection screen not letting you select Play with the arrow keys ?? You have to push down when on the Edit Sequence instead of arrowing over to the play button ( on Android )

I use it for lights and everything else but i think I might be unique in i also use it to make audio announcements to the whole house like " TheThe movie preshow has begun.. dont Forget to grab some popcorn and refreshments.. NightWatcherTheater snackbar is now open"
