Finally moving the media servers I manage forward to Kodi v20/21 and moving over from CinemaVision to PSE. Doing some testing so far I've found a few issues. First, trivia cannot be skipped. This isn't running on a shield it's in Windows 10. Second local trailers do not scrape and therefor do not work. Third, I believe there was a fix for this before but between each video the "working" pop-up gets annoying and would be great to have that hidden. Hello everyone, I have a question about Preshow Experience in the context of Jellyfin: Does this work or does the addon only work with content that is local? I have configured Preshow so far and created a first sequence. This also works when I use the integrated preview. However, I have not been able to get it to work before the actual movies. I have worked through the guides and unfortunately found nothing on the subject of whether it still needs to be activated somehow or how I need to start the actual movie so that the addon becomes active. I see this feature is added to the newest version which is great because I've been switching manually between sequences with an IMAX bumper for full screen aspect ratio movies so I wanted to try out this new feature but I cannot find it anywhere. How can we set this filter?

Something is not working properly when sequences are being run automatically. When I select a movie that should play a custom sequence based on a tag, it plays the default sequence. However if I manually select the same sequence it will play it properly. See video for description. I'm getting the logs as well Think I found it. Look at the picture of the logs. The sequence name in brackets are all the same. Those were all created from the default. When I do "save as" to rename it, it doesn't change the name in the brackets for some reason. Figured it out. Thank you so much for the Confluence skin in Kodi 21! As I've changed from 20 to 21, the old Confluence didn't work any more... One thing left: Maybe I'm to silly... What's my fault, when I can't set up my background image? I'm using XBMC 21 on my Zidoo instead of pure Kodi 21. When I go to "-Configure skin..." > "Background" > "-Background path:" I do see External storage and my HDD connected to my Zidoo. But the only path in which I can switch is "Root filesystem". Of course, my background image I've put to the HDD. It's not accessible from there... How can I get to my picture? Or: How can I put the picture somewhere into the Root filesystem? Wondering if anyone can help. Everything with my setup works fine until i get to the main feature. It will show the ratings bumper for the main feature and when that fades it just rains black. Any Idea what the problem might be? I'm running on Nvidia Shield.

Hi, First of all, thanks for this great plugin, Matt ! I am unable to get PSE getting triggered to start the sequence when I start any movies. I think, I'm doing something really stupid / doing a silly miss. I installed PSE following the guide without any issues. Configuring settings was a breeze, sequence editor is really useful. Sequences play as expected too ( in the sequence editor). Unfortunately, whenever I play a movie, I don't see PSE getting triggered. Any way we could have the ability to skip/ff the trivia section? Sometimes I forget to disable it depending on the audience I’m with and it’d be nice to have that ability rather than exiting, going to PreShow add on disabling trivia and going back to the movie.

Hi, First, thank's for this wonderful addon ! I try to improve the cinema experience and the new action on last chapter/credit can be perfect to turn on lights. Unfortunatly, even if the action work when i test it in the settings, it don't work when i launch a preshow experience sequence.

Hello! Where do I go wrong? When I insert a module into a sequence (by accident or somehow) I‘m not able to delete (remove) the icon… PSE says „The PreShow must have a feature module.“ The sequence does have a feature module at its end! One could trick cinemavision to work with discs (Bluray / DVD) as well. I'm not quite sure how I did it, but it either worked by playing a directory using two files ("empty" with black screen & media stub for disc playback) or by using a playlist file containing the media stub file. Playback could be triggered by running a python script in the menu. If I remember correctly this did no longer work starting with Kodi 19 or at least I'm currently unable to reproduce this behaviour. I tried to recreate this, but to no avail. I also tried starting the disc directly with the PlayDisc()-command and having basically no feature. This will work when testing in the edit…

Hi guys, new to the program, I'm kind of stumbling at the first hurdle here so I'm hoping someone can help. I've got my content folders for bumpers/trailers etc but I'm a bit lost to either how I'm meant to add my videos to features or if I'm meant to set up a content path for features etc. Hoping someone can help.

Hi all I've installed this on my Shield with Kodi and configured everything to the guides. But I don't see any mention as to how I start this? I was hoping for a menu item when long pressing on a movie or it even starts automatically when I start the movie, but nothing so far. What do I need to do? Thanks

Hi all, when I try to watch a movie from Amazon or Netflix with PSE the sequence stops when the movie is supposed to start with a black screen. Is there any setting I need to adjust when I watch from these platforms?

Edit: Nearly got it. I had the wrong username. The tutorial from CV helped me out. Also forgot an ":" after the "PUT"... But the "execute action on sequence resume" from the menu still is not working. It just says: "This action is not set or not yet applied". And another issue that just appeared is that in the editor all my actions work fine, bute when i start a movie, the first action file just instantly turns off the light instead of just dimming it.
