Looks like Team-XBMC Developer tbiden20 is spearheading an upcoming Kodi release for Windows that will once again include DSPlayer (allows using madvr directly in Kodi) to be followed later with additional support for libplacebo. This is great news for those who don't want to contend with having to use external players for Kodi and the loss of resume functionality. Furthermore, one additional feature was just added that will benefit users of PreShow Experience directly, especially projector owners. See below for details. https://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid=223175&pid=3231774#pid3231774

I know this is all new, but because of that I think it would be a great time to see if you can work with Plex so that it's an easy implementation! It would be the greatest update Plex has ever made to their application, and I know that so many of us would love/use it! If there is anything I can do on my end to help this process progress and go smoothly please let me know. I have since uploaded a "Feature Request" on Plex's forums here

I use tinyMediaManager and they just released that last update for the free version 3. I like tMM because it's basically an all in one program that wraps up my movies in a nice package. It creates the .nfo files, downloads the artwork and links to trailers, etc. What does everybody else use? https://www.tinymediamanager.org/ To get the latest free version of 3.1.18 you'll need to go to the release archive under downloads or I could also upload them here for posterity if there's any interest and if it's allowed.

I know I should know this, but I haven't had a reason to until starting to look at installing PreShow on my Fire TV Cube so I can move over some bumpers, etc. I tried looking it up on the Kodi forums and Wiki, but I haven't found a definitive answer. I know several people here use Android devices, so thought I eat some crow and ask. I presume it's all the same with Android, but I could be wrong. Did some more searching. I guess the terms I was originally using were wrong. I see Android doesn't support it natively and you have to install a SSH server. Looks like SSHelper is an option? Haven't check the Amazon store to see if it's available yet. Is that similar…
