Thanks for the additional info @acid303 and thank you for the translation @marius. The log file only shows 1 file being played, and no errors within PreShow. I've tested this in Android, PC & MAC, and none of them had issues playing a singe file. I don't own a Himedia q10 pro, so I can't test that. The 1 thing that I see is that it uses an external player, hu.xmister.xbmcwrapper. My first suggestion is to turn that off and see if the sequence plays with the default player. The next thing is make sure a content folder has been set in the settings and put the files into the default PreShow content folders. Put Auf.mp4 in Theater Intro. Put Jetzt kommt die Werbung.mp4 in Sponsors. Put the videos currently in intermission in Commercials. Put Das war die Werbung.mp4 in Theater Outro. Then the sequence should be: Theater Intro - Count 1 Sponsors - Count 1 Commercials - Count 3 Theater Outro - Count 1 Feature Make sure those folder don't have any extra files in them. Let me know the results.

I am unable to recreate this issue. Can you please share your sequence file and a new log file of it playing your entire sequence? @marius Can you please help me figure out if there's something else that I'm missing or not understanding here?
-
In the log I can see that your sequence should play: 1 single file: Auf.mp4 1 single file: Jetzt kommt die Werbung.mp4 3 videos from the directory: Intermission 1 single file: Das war die Werbung.mp4 Does that match what you are seeing in your sequence? It looks like the sequence ended after playing "Auf.mp4." I'm not sure if that was intentional or not. Can you play the entire sequence and send me a new log file? Also, you can just send the pastebin link if that is quicker for you.

Hello @acid303 I'm not seeing this behavior. Can you send me a log file? To share a log, close out of Kodi and then reopen it. Play the sequence where you are having the issue, or do whatever to recreate the issue. Then go into the PreShow settings and scroll down in the general tab until you see "paste my kodi.log to pastebin." Click that and then click "current." Next, click Show QR code and use your phone to get the link to the pastebin page. You can either share that in this thread or send me a direct message through the site with it.

It's currently just straight random order, so if you have 75% of your slides in 1 folder, then ~75% of what is displayed will be from that folder. The only current option is to put slides in different folders and set the trivia folder in different sequences to play them. The upcoming versions of PreShow will include some more filters and ways to differentiate what slides you are getting, and at some point I hope to get more trivia added.

Unfortunately Kodi doesn't allow anyone to modify the action of the play button. There are 2 things that you can do to minimize the disruption though. The 1st is to go into the PreShow Settings > Playback and turn on "Hide queue editor." The 2nd is to use a skin that has PreShow built into it. They each handle it differently, but there's usually a button in the movie info screen to launch PreShow. In the estuary screen below, you can click on Cinema Mode to launch PreShow. Here are the skins that I know work with PreShow: https://preshowexperience.com/files/category/7-skins/

PreShow only works with local media and doesn't work with media from other addons. Also, PreShow required that Kodi be restarted after it in installed before the context menu will show up. Here are the steps to get started: Go into PreShow (Addons > Program Addons > PreShow Experience) Click New in the top left Click Edit Sequence Move to the left and click Add:Video Then click Edit Select the type of video that you want to play. If you have your content folder set up in settings you can select a specific type of video that you want to play. Otherwise, select Directory or Single File and select the directory or file that you want to play. Click escape to go back to the main menu Enable Auto Select Click save (3rd button from the top left) and name is something you can easily remember When opening your movies, open the context menu and select PreShow Experience. Make sure your sequence that you saved in step 9 is selected. If it isn't, click the name and select the appropriate sequence. That will launch your movie with your clip to play before it.

The current trailer options that we have don't currently have multi-language options. Sorry.

Preshow for Aeon MQ 8 Omega Mod v1.0.3 for Kodi v21 "Omega"
Matt replied to mike413muo's topic in PreShow Experience
I haven't tested it, but the official version of Aeon MQ 8 Omega appears to have the required code for PreShow already included. -
Preshow for Aeon MQ 8 Omega Mod v1.0.3 for Kodi v21 "Omega"
Matt replied to mike413muo's topic in PreShow Experience
Unfortunately, no. ZDMC for Kodi 21 Omega doesn't exist. -
I removed the download links for the previous dev version. I only keep them up long enough for me to get the feedback that I need. The most recent dev version is available here:

Demo mode means you don't have a content folder assigned or PreShow can't read it. Is the entire settings blank or just the content? If it's the content, relink it. If the entire setting in blank you'll probably have to reinstall it.

Deadpool & Wolverine Courtesy View File I know this is low quality, but I thought people might enjoy it anyway. I'll update the file if they release a higher quality version. Submitter Matt Submitted 05/26/2024 Category Courtesy Bumpers

I am going to be working on how sequences work in the future and will check this out then. There is a setting to map another button on the shield remote to advance the trivia.

PreShow Experience 0.3.0.a2 not running correct on Nvidia Shield TV Pro 2017
Matt replied to Dreamaxx Premium Cinema's question in Support
Thanks for pointing that out. That's an error that I've fixed in the upcoming version, and ironically was coming here to post something about it. There was an issue with the default sequence. -
PreShow Experience 0.3.0.a2 not running correct on Nvidia Shield TV Pro 2017
Matt replied to Dreamaxx Premium Cinema's question in Support
I meant that it has been revised since the previously released version and I haven't encountered any issues on my shield with the new code. The updated code will be in the next release. -
The only potential thing I can suggest is to add an slideshow or trivia module between the action and the feature in case it takes longer for the player to be switched. I'm not sure if there's much that I can do to help. The action file worked on my system, but others have said it doesn't work for them.

I'm not a skinner, so I don't know if this specific request will happen. If you want make feature requests, please do that here: https://preshowexperience.com/ideas/ I do have plans to update the queue editor, but it's going to be a while before that happens. For now, I recommend making sure you have the correct sequence planned out and then turning on "hide queue editor" if you plan on hosting guests.

Skipping Trivia w/Nvidia Shield TV Pro 2019?
Matt replied to ammonrose's topic in General Discussion
That's not normal, and I don't think I've heard about that behavior elsewhere. I'd need a log file where you tried to move around in the trivia to look into it further.
